our unique wedding cake

We decided that we wanted to do something a bit different for our wedding cake and also didn't want to spend a ton of money.  There are some BEAUTIFUL wedding cakes... like amazing but they are not cheap.

After a ton of research and ideas, we decided on a Rice Krispie Square Cake.  Luckily my moms best friend is an amazing cook and baker and just such a sweet lady.  She made the cake for us and it turned out perfect!





If you don't want a traditional wedding cake, think outside the box!  What do you guys like?  How about an ice cream cake? Brownie cake?  Macaroons?  Cupcakes?  Mini Cupcakes?  Banana Bread?  Cake pops?

So many creative ideas out there.  Make sure to check out pinterest....
